  Kids Koncerts are held rain or shine and in case of rain they will be held in the school.

Kids’ Koncert

The Somersworth Festival Association has announced it will continue its popular Wednesday evening Kids’ Koncert series. Entertainers will be featured on the SFA’s Pavilion Stage. As always, Koncert-goers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and then be prepared for a relaxing, entertaining time. Picnicking is encouraged. Low cost food is available at the site. There is no admission charge although donations are accepted. For more information call the SFA at 692-5869.

Event Details 

February - Breakfast with Frosty 

Frosty the Snowman and his friends at the Somersworth Festival Association will really be cooking at the annual Breakfast with Frosty and Funfest. From 8:00-11:00AM at the Somersworth High School Cafetorium, the public is invited to breakfast featuring Frosty. Ala carte items will also be available for younger folks with smaller appetites.  

Children can interact with Frosty, color their placemats and enjoy special entertainment before heading over to play the games at Frosty’s Funfest. From 8:00-11:00AM, Frosty’s Funfest promises to be a whole lot of fun priced right for families. Activities include games, face painting, grab bags, and Hockey Shoot to name a few. Children of all ages can try their luck at the many games to win great prizes.  

Both events are held each year in conjunction with Somersworth’s annual Winterfest celebration.

Middle of May - Spring Carnival 

Spring Carnival, held during the spring school break, features a midway of rides, games, activities and food. The carnival will be open from 2pm through 9pm Thursday and Friday. On Saturday, the hours will be noon to 9pm and on Sunday, noon to 6pm.  Back

July - August - Summer "Kids Koncerts" Series 

Each Wednesday, the SFA brings free family entertainment to the outdoor Festival Pavilion stage at the Somersworth Football Field. Each Kids Koncert begins at 6:00pm. There is no admission charge. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and a picnic lunch and have a ball with this great entertainment geared for the younger set. For those who prefer to purchase food, Festival volunteers will be selling light meals and snacks at a reasonable price. Kids Koncerts are held rain or shine and in case of rain they will be held in the school.

SOMERSWORTH PUMPKIN FESTIVAL

Saturday, Oct. 09 – 10-4:30 p.m., Somersworth. Family-orientated event designed to celebrate all things pumpkin. Come enjoy pumpkin carving, pumpkin painting, pumpkin smashing, pumpkin catapult, pumpkin bowling, hay rides, scarecrow making, pumpkin putt-putt golf, family photo shoot, stage entertainment, pumpkin mask making, leaf etching, loads of pumpkin-themed games, and lots more. $10 per child, adults free. Park your car and shop in the High School where you will be able to shop from our talented crafters to your heart’s content. Delicious food will be served by Festival Association volunteers. Come and spend the day with us and do all of your Christmas shopping. Open 9AM to 3PM.
